Lino Printing on Fabric Tote Demo

I made myself a new art supply tote today. I wanted to make it more rustic by tea staining it before I printed on it. To get a good print on the fabric, I made an initial print on paper to ensure that the Linocut is properly primed with ink. It has been my experience that the first print is the one most likely to be salty and the ones after almost always turn out better.
I used Speedball Fabric Ink to print with and to paint the red on the fox. This ink takes a week to cure before it can be washed.

Thanks for watching.
