I rarely ever use Adobe Illustrator for 3D work, but in todays tutorial I explore the nee 3D tools that Adobe have presented to us in the new update. I must say, they are really decent and I was pretty amazed by how much the devs have added.
I had a lot of fun trying out the new tools and making some interesting 3D graphic designs in Illustrator. The only real complaint I have is to do with the shadows. The render of the shadow is more often than not, blurry or pixelated. I couldn't find a workaround for it either. 3D graphic design work relies on quality lighting and shadow to seem 'real'. The lighting effects and settings are awesome, but I do feel the shadow side of things need some work.

The materials are a new addition to Illustrator, and they can be applied to objects and even text. There is a nice selection of materials to choose from, but I would like to see more added by Adobe in the future.
