Honor 500 series Official Teaser,4K Samples, Full Specs & Launch Date

Olympic champion Chen Yuxi just made tech headlines by accidentally revealing the upcoming Honor 500 Series during the 15th National Games of China! 🏅 While celebrating her gold medal, she pulled out an unreleased Honor smartphone — giving us our first real-life look at the Honor 500 before its official launch.

According to official engineers and leaked footage, the Honor 500 sports a new horizontal “runway-style” dual-camera design, inspired by the iPhone Air, while the Honor 500 Pro adds a triple-camera system. Both models are expected to feature a 6.55-inch 1.5K OLED 120 Hz display, Snapdragon 8-series chips (8s Gen 4 / 8 Elite), and MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.

Camera specs are equally impressive — a 200 MP main sensor, 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and on the Pro, a 64 MP periscope telephoto camera. Photography influencer Derreck Zhang has already shared 4 K motion photo samples using the new “Break the Frame” mode that captures radiant, fiery motion effects.

With an 8,000 mAh battery, 100 W wired charging, 50 W wireless charging, IP68/69 durability, dual speakers, NFC, and infrared, the Honor 500 series is shaping up to be one of 2025’s most exciting releases.
