NEW PROJECT! 4.45M FAMILY FISHING BOAT | BOAT BUILD EP 1

Our family has officially outgrown the trusty little 3.5m Explorer, the roof topper that somehow carried all four of us and created plenty of memories without complaint (unlike the kids). Boating has always been our thing as a family, so naturally we decided it was time to upgrade to something a bit bigger and slightly more practical.

Sure, we could have gone out and bought something turn-key, shiny, and exactly how we wanted it… but where’s the poor decision-making in that? That wouldn’t exactly scream STS Garage.

So instead, we did what any rational person would do, dove headfirst into the chaos of Facebook Marketplace and came out with a 4.45m Snyper. It’s what you’d politely call a “blank canvas”… and less politely call “a bit of a situation.” It’s got a few issues (character-building opportunities), but hey it was a cheaper option, and now we get the privilege of pouring time, money and questionable decisions into making it our own.
