Child aid at Terre des hommes home in Valais
The Terre des hommes movement was founded 50 years ago by the Swiss Edmond Kaiser in Lausanne. The goal was to provide direct support to underprivileged children in developing countries. It soon showed that some illnesses couldn't be treated in those countries. In 1970 the Terre des hommes home was founded in Valais to care for children undergoing surgery.
