⚖️ A shocking incident in the Supreme Court of India — a lawyer tried to throw his shoe at Chief Justice of India BR Gavai during a hearing on Monday.

Security immediately detained the lawyer, identified as Rakesh Kishore (71), while CJI Gavai remained calm and continued proceedings.
The Bar Council of India has now suspended the lawyer from practicing law.

Reports say the lawyer reacted angrily to a comment made during a case about restoring a Lord Vishnu idol at Khajuraho, shouting that he wouldn’t tolerate any insult to “Sanatan.”
