SpaceX priced 555.6 million shares at $135 each, overtaking Saudi Aramco as the largest public offering ever recorded and setting its owner on a path to become the first trillionaire, even as a WIRED review found Grok's Imagine still generating nonconsensual sexualized images that rival systems refused, and a fired safety engineer sued over rejected guardrails. Jeff Bezos's Prometheus raised $12 billion to automate the design of physical systems from jet engines to drug compounds, while Theker raised $85 million for reconfigurable factory robots. Google DeepMind, Schmidt Sciences, and ARIA committed $10 million to build a science of agent swarms its own safety lead says does not yet exist. The White House met separately with children's advocates and the tech industry to build a kids-safety case for preempting state AI laws as Anthropic's Dario Amodei endorsed mandatory federal testing and floated "universal capital accounts." Two lawsuits filed two days apart press whether AI outputs carry a duty of care. And Stellantis and Factorial rolled solid-state cells charging 15% to 90% in 18 minutes onto a Dodge Charger Daytona, the first solid-state EV integration in North America.
