How do i know if the nonprofit that I want to support is stable?

Many donors or philanthropists before making a donation often ask the question of, “is this nonprofit stable,” but they do not know how to find the answer. Here’s how:

1. Ask for a current balance sheet and look at their profit-loss statements.

2. Ask to see the nonprofits business plan - if they don’t have one you may want to reconsider your investment or better yet alter your investment towards helping them to create a business plan.
