Vietnam War veteran Jim Abel talks about his experiences. After Abel graduated from Montana State University with a degree in graphic design, he had a choice — be drafted or enlist. He opted to be drafted. He was drafted in May 1969 into the U.S. Army. He completed basic training at Fort Lewis, Wash.
