Slide Show/Video of my 1987 Scat1 Hovercraft Restoration project

Bought it a little over a yr ago from a guy who owned 4 Scat1 and Scat2 hovercrafts. He's been waiting for me to finish so we can ride together. This is very rare in California.
I have change the original Rotax 277(single cylinder 27hp) to 503 (2 cylinders 50hp) 2 strokes engine (60lbs).
It's not in the slide show, but I change the Stater and the spark plugs, left the coils alone for the engine.
I just cleaned the Mikuni Carb and put it back together and run like a champ.
I have replaced the handle bar and the stem for the steering, also not in the slide show. Change the throttle from grip to finger throttle, it's easier on my wrist. All these changes will be in the next vdo.

All I did is add the skirt, the engine, and the fan. did a little work on the bottom hull with more fiberglass to cover up the holes.
