This is a talk I gave at the 2015 Cryptologic History Symposium on October 22, 2015. I've been studying the Zodiac ciphers for a while now, and this presentation is a culmination of my research. The talk was part of the "Ciphers and Crime" panel moderated by FBI historian John Fox. Fellow panelists included FBI Cryptanalysis and Racketeering Records Unit chief Dan Olson and encryption technology author Klaus Schmeh.
