Episode 17 of our Valheim co-op survival adventure with BarebonesSurvivor is the moment we’ve been grinding toward… the fight against The Elder. 🌲⚔️ In true Valheim survival gameplay and subsistence-style progression, every step leading here has been about preparation — gathering resources, crafting gear, upgrading weapons, and building the systems we need to survive a brutal boss fight.

Next, we scout out the Elder boss location deep in the Black Forest, planning our approach and trying not to get wiped before the fight even begins. Then it’s back to base to upgrade our bows, because ranged combat is going to be key if we want any chance at surviving this battle. 🏹🔥

With preparations complete, we return to the Black Forest and take on The Elder — one of the toughest early-game bosses in Valheim. This is where everything comes together: teamwork, strategy, gear progression, and survival instincts.
