Diet advice for Thanksgiving…not what you think

The holidays are meant to be enjoyed. The “special occasions” in the year are meant to focus on family, friends, and indulgences.

All the other average days are your time to lock in and nail your diet and training.

There are 365 days in a year. Set aside the holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, special date nights, a couple weeks of vacation…even if you are just chilling without a care in the world towards diet for 37 days out of the year…if you do a good job on the other days, that’s 90%. But few people want to lock in on the 90%. But for some odd reason people get fixated on the 10%.

Nobody will look back at at how they approached the year and say “man…my physique and performance is not where I want it to be because of Thanksgiving, Christmas and my birthday party”
No, you’ll look back and realize you have not reached your goals because of all those random weekdays when you were lazy, skipped workouts, missed meals and went off plan.

All those hundreds of average days in the year are where the gains are made or lost. Not the special outlier days.
