As a guide dog, it is my job to guide Mum safely wherever she needs to go. I was guiding her home from the gym and very subtly avoided a red Yucca plant that, had I not moved, would have hit Mum in the face.

I start guiding Mum with me walking more towards the middle of the walkway, but shift over to the left once I see the red Yucca plant to make sure there is enough room for her to pass by without the red yucca plant hitting her in the face. Did you see it the first time? Or did you need to wait for the slow motion?

Mum says it is the little things I do to keep her safe that make a huge difference.
