Wizarding World of Harry Potter Tour 2020 + Tips!

Beginners guide to visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando! What a magical place! I tried to fill this with all the beautiful buildings and scenery, as well as pack in some useful tips for those planning to visit. I can't wait to get back out!

It is seriously impressive how much work went into these parks. You really feel like you are in the movies or books. All throughout the parks, they play the movie soundtracks, and I noticed that they play certain songs in the soundtracks that apply to whatever you are near. For example, when you are near shops with Hermione, or Harry's dress clothes for the Triwizard Tournament, they play the music from that part of the movie.

There are only 5 rides total in both parks, including riding the Hogwarts Express. The train is a different experience each way, so definitely ride it at least twice. I couldn't film while on the rides unfortunately, so I tried to pack as much other stuff as I could without making the video terribly long.
The rides in Diagon Alley are the Escape from Gringotts, and the Hogwarts Express.
The rides on the Hogsmead side are Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, and also the Hogwarts Express.

Our favorite ride was Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure. It is so much fun. That was the first ride we went to right when the park opened because it gets the biggest line in the park.

You definitely need to get frozen butterbeer on your trip! It's a little spendy, but I splurged and got one each day. Save it for the afternoon when you want to cool down a bit. If you are on the Islands of Adventure side, definitely get your butterbeer from the Hogs Head. I got mine there and never had anyone ahead of me. And it's more fun getting your drink from the same place Harry, Ron, and Hermione would!

The crowds seem to be at normal capacity right now. Universal is offering deals on park tickets which is probably bringing more people than normal in a time like this. For our tickets, we got a deal on their website to buy 2 days, get 2 free. You can check out the deals they have going on here:
