It comes as no surprise that a lot of fragrance lovers enjoy the risky but exciting and often rewarding experience of "blind buying" perfumes. My own process of blind buying usually starts with a process of being intrigued by a certain scent profile and then going after and discovering new (to me) perfumes that I might like or learn to like based on the nothes, accords, and reviews I can find in the fragrance community. Sometimes, hopefully rarely lol, you might end up purchasing a perfume you don't actlly like the smell of. These are some of my riskier purchases and my « before you buy » thoughts. I love all kinds of scents, fragrances, and perfumes, but I especially love what can be described as gourmand, warm, creamy, cozy, lactonic, sweet, vanillic, oriental, floriental, floriental patchouli, floral woody musk, some chypre, nutty, fruity, tropical, white floral, some citru and fresh, powdery, balsamic, smoky, incense perfumes. I love notes of amber, vanilla, sandalwood, salt, caramel, incense, resins, rosemary, thyme, sage, jasmine, tuberose, rose, frangipani, gardenia, tiare flower, tonka bean, leather, coffee, milk, whipped cream, weird notes like rocks and rain and everything in between and at the edges of my senses.
