Your Law Firm Doesn't Own Its Website (And You Probably Didn't Know)

Most law firm owners don't realize their marketing agency owns the website they've been paying for.

If you try to leave, the site goes with them. Your content, your rankings, your domain authority, gone. You start over from scratch.

Here's the 4-part test to run on your own firm this week:

1. Can you download a full backup of your website without asking permission?
2. Can you move your domain to a new host?
3. Do you have admin access to your Google Business Profile?
4. Can you export your historical analytics?

If the answer to any of those is no, you don't own your marketing. You're renting it.
