Shah Rukh Khan's Speech at the Water Cup Awards Ceremony (वॉटर कप सोहळयात शाहरुख खान ने साधला संवाद)

शाहरुख खान सत्यमेव जयते वॉटर कप २०१७ पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात आवर्जुन हजर राहिले. आपल्या अत्यंत बिझी शेड्युलमधून वेळ काढत शाहरुख खान यांनी तब्बल पाच तास या पुरस्कार सोहळ्याला दिले आणि अत्यंत तन्मयतेने त्यांनी हा सोहळा पाहिला. महाराष्ट्रातील जलक्रांतिकारक आपल्या कामातून शाहरूख यांना बऱ्याच गोष्टी शिकवून गेले. हे स्वतः शाहरूख मान्य करतायेत ह्या व्हिडीओतून.

Cine superstar Shah Rukh Khan graced with his presence the awards ceremony for the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup 2017 at the Balewadi stadium in Pune on 6th August. He was standing in for Aamir Khan, Paani Foundation's co-founder, who was unwell.

Shah Rukh spent almost an entire day for this event and offered words of great encouragement to many. We bring you a video of Shah Rukh delivering a speech in typical 'King Khan' style (in Hindi), and we are sure you will enjoy it. Here is a bit of what he said, just to whet your appetite!

“No matter how grand the idea is, it amounts to nothing if people do not get behind it. If you farmer brothers and sisters had not contributed your efforts to make this idea (drought eradication) a reality, it would never have taken off the way it has. I also appreciate the efforts that you make in growing grain, but sometimes God or Allah or nature does not grant you the thing that you need most, which is ample rainfall. But today you have proved that you can raise a crop of water itself (through watershed development). Moreover, you have come together despite being of various castes, creeds and beliefs, thus proving that India is united.”
