Belizean Flour Tortillas

Flour tortilla is the first thing you learn to make as a Belizean child. I was 8 years old when I made my first flour tortilla. This is how my mom taught me. Hope you try it.

Belizean Flour Tortillas

4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups water

makes 12 tortillas
