How to Build a No-Code eCommerce Store Using Softr & Stripe (with Cart & Checkout) | Part 1

In the first part in this series, we show you how to take your Softr game to the next level showing how to build a fully no-code and fully automated eCommerce Store.

Softr continues to release new powerful features, almost weekly at this stage, and in the race for the airtable front-end, in my books it is pulling ahead of the competition.

Stripe is a highly flexible, highly functional, and highly secure payment processing technology. Traditionally it was really only usable by developers and coders, but they have made some very clear moves in 2021 toward the no-code space, with the introduction of Stripe Payment Links. In this tutorial series we show you the best no-code ways to integrate Stripe with your Airtable & Softr web apps.

In future videos planned for this series we show you further advanced features surrounding all things Stripe integration, including how to build a fully functioning cart & checkout feature in your Softr app, and also how to create an invoicing web app using Softr & Stripe. So stay tuned. 😎

This is the piece of script mentioned in the tutorial re: Record ID hidden field so that when the user submits their order on their chosen product in your Softr eCommerce store, it automatically submits the Record ID of the current list item detail (i.e. of that product) with that form submission (note: this must go in the "value" field of your hidden field in your Softr form block):
