xTool F1 Ultra Black Stainless Steel Engraving

Defocusing is one of our favorite techniques to create a dark black marking without actually cutting into the stainless steel.

Here are the settings we used. Disclaimer for large designs like this you should expect it taking over an hour. But you can mess with speed and height, to see if you can speed it up. We really love how the cup turns out with these settings so we just stick with the slower engraving

‼️ Set the focus to the top of the cup and then add an additional 10mm to raise up the laser module.
