FIDM Online Lecture Series: Trends in Beauty Marketing & Product Development
Watch an illuminating discussion and deep dive into how the pandemic has forever changed the beauty industry.
The first part will be conducted by two students in the Beauty Industry Management program, Samme Blackman and Shira Berman, who will share results of the in-depth analyses they and their fellow classmates presented to top New York beauty brands on beauty's new normal.
In the second part of this program, FIDM Alumnae Inger Berg, NYX Cosmetics AVP of Global Marketing, and Robyn-Melissa Watkins, Product Development Expert & Consultant, will share their experiences and fascinating insights into how the beauty industry will look going forward.

Samme Blackman: A graduate of FIDM's Beauty Industry Management program, Samme Blackman is a current Business Management student and a social media coordinator for Naimie’s Beauty Supply. She has interned for brands including WOLF 36 and The Better Skin Co.
Shira Berman: Makeup artist Shira Berman is a Bachelor's student in Business Management and a social media marketing intern at Hourglass Cosmetics. She has FIDM degrees in Beauty Industry Management and Beauty Marketing & Product Development, and previously interned at Petit 'n Pretty.
Inger Berg: Currently the Assistant Vice President of Global Marketing at NYX Professional Makeup, Inger Berg has over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry managing brands and launching hundreds of products. The FIDM Alumna relaunched the Paul Mitchell and Jafra Color brand, as well as incubated new brand concepts targeting Gen Z and Millennials.
Robyn-Melissa Watkins: FIDM Alumna Robyn Watkins is the founder of Holistic Beauty Group, a leading product development consultancy specializing in clean beauty and wellness for brands including Pattern Beauty, Sagely Naturals, and Versed Skin. For nearly two decades, she has been a driving force in the beauty industry towards the use of clean, sustainable, and safe ingredients.
