Installing a Cooling System on my Front Engine Dragster Part 1!
Time to really start making some progress on my nostalgia front engine dragster, I am getting close to making some noise, or shall we say, music to my ears. in this video, I start on the cooling the system. Seeing I will be running race gas instead of methanol, I need to make sure to keep the 311 cubic inch small block Chevy engine cool while making passes and in between rounds. In order to do that, I will need a radiator, water pump, and a cooling fan. Sounds simple right? Not so much really, I have never done this on a dragster before, so this will definitely be a learning curve for 2 Hacks Garage! I opted for a Proform electric water pump, CSF radiator, and all kinds of other goodies to make this happen! Drag racing is hard on the engine and keeping things cool is a must.
