Cherie Currie Live in Concert 2010 at Pacific Amp OC Fair "Rock & Roll" + "Rebel Rebel" The Runaways

8/11/2010 Pacific Amphitheatre OC Fair - opens for Joan Jett & The Blackhearts... Cherie sings an old Runaways favorite (Rock & Roll-The Velvet Underground) featured on Live In Japan, and also pays homage to her idol David Bowie as she breaks into "Rebel Rebel" which plays during a scene at Rodney's English Disco in The Runaways movie. This sold out event saw the attendance of 8,500+ spectators, causing the venue to open up the lawn section for overflow... something they never do normally. Even Joan Jett marveled at the sheer numbers as she looked on- "Wow, look at all of you people!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eDwzxeJOtE It was quite a night indeed. This show was named Best Live Performance of 2010 by Real Rock Report.
