The Narcissist's Childhood Trauma (Covert Narcissism)

THE NARCISSIST'S CHILDHOOD TRAUMA discusses the consequences of the visible and invisible domestic violence witnessed and experienced during childhood that cause Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

We talk a look at the neurological impact of childhood abuse, how this affects the Narcissist's brain and, ultimately, their behavior through a #TraumaInformed filter.

Understanding what is at the core of Narcissistic Personality Disorder can be healing for survivors of Narcissistic Abuse. It can help survivors see that the Narcissist's toxic behavior has nothing to do with them.

N.B. Though people with Narcissistic Personality Disorder can experience micro psychotic episode, Narcissism is NOT a form of psychosis. NPDs make conscious decisions.
