Conflict forcing more and more people across Africa to move
Conflict has been cited as the main cause for the displacement crisis across Africa, according to a new report by the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre, which revealed that 19.5 million internal displacements were recorded in sub-Saharan Africa in 2023, as compared to 16.5 million in 2022.
