The TV program Singer on Chinese TV, propelled Kazakhstan Singer Dimash Kudaibergen onto the world stage. Almost overnight, he became an international singing sensation. Opera 2 was one of the songs he performed which brought on some controversy. The legal team of the writer and original singer of the song sent a notice to the TV station to bar Dimash's performance.
