Bannon calls for third Trump term
Steve Bannon said Thursday that President Trump should run for a third term, speaking at Semafor's World Economy summit in Washington, DC.
"Is JD Vance heir to the MAGA movement?" Semafor editor-in-chief Ben Smith asked him.
"MAGA has President Trump," Mr. Bannon responded. "I'm a huge advocate of President Trump's third term."
The former White House adviser and "War Room" podcast host has repeatedly called for the president to seek a third term and said there would be mechanisms to evade the 22nd Amendment's two-term limit.
