Ben Hall is a sheep that was rescued after 5 years on the run, and Chris is shocked at the condition of his heavy coat. The thick, matted wool could be hiding all sorts of health problems.

Little Tora has shocking injuries after jumping off the back of a moving ute. The 4-month-old Staffy has been brought to the Bondi referral hospital SASH where specialist surgeon Dr Andrew Marchevsky has the difficult task of trying to repair her badly fractured hip.

While in Melbourne, Chris is called to the set of upcoming film Oddball. The movie is based on the true story of an eccentric farmer, whose Maremma Dog saves a colony of penguins off the Victorian coast. One of the stars, Maremma dog Meiko, has been struck with a mystery illness, and Chris needs to work quickly to find out what’s wrong.

Tim has received an SOS from a biologist researching Red Backed Toadlets in the Watagan State Forest. After heavy rain in the area, Funnel Web Spiders have been found in the research traps. Tim needs to safely remove the deadly creepy crawlies and take them back to the Australian Reptile Park for milking.
