2022 Impact Summit: Introduction to the AVR-IoT Cellular Mini Development Board
Join Bob Martin, Wizard or Make for Microchip as he introduces the AVR-IoT Cellular Mini Development board. This is a fully Arduino compatible LTE-M based board based on the AVR® DB family and a Sequans Monarch® 2 LTE-M modem. Full TLS support with certificate exchange is available through the ECC608A Secure Element.
The AVR-IoT Cellular Mini Development Board is also compatible with the Adafruit Feather footprint and provides a Qwiic connector interface. Combined with the advanced analog features of the AVR128DB48 microcontroller provide a powerful yet easy to use platform to quickly evaluate environmental sensor platforms.
The Qwiic connector interface allows access to a large selection of atmospheric and water quality sensors fully supported by Arduino libraries. Using the low power modes on the AVR128DB48 MCU can optimize the power profile and maximize battery life in the field.
A quick demo of a environmental sensor cube will illustrate the flexible connectivity and low power operation of the AVR-IoT Cellular Mini.
