Why has it been traditionally difficult for creatives to earn money from their craft? Tara Prendergast is a passionate and active voice for giving the power back to creative businesses and independent artists.

Tara began her entrepreneurial journey at 19, after quitting her fine art education, recognising the fact it could prove quite difficult to make money from her painting skill. She opted for a start your own business course and opened a restaurant instead.
Fast forward 20 years and Tara’s journey has evolved from that decisive moment of putting down her paint brush. Choosing an interesting path of working with start-ups, opening two businesses and travelling the world something never left her mind:

Tara sold her last business in 2012 and moved to Dublin where she began to help small businesses with their social media platforms. Over a two-year period, Tara decided to launch a niche Brand to the creative space, aligning her age-old passion for the Creative sector.
The brand BISCUIT was born in Jan 2015 and since then has helped over 15 creative entrepreneurs through 1:1 Coaching.
