Because it’s World Cancer Awareness Day, I wanted to share my experience: in my 20s I was diagnosed twice with precancerous cervical cells, had surgery, and was told I might never have children — but early smear tests caught it in time, and I later went on to have two.

As a neurodivergent person, I know how easy it is to ignore pain or changes in our bodies, but after recent scares (and losing my dad to undiagnosed cancer), I really want to say this: you are not a burden, and getting things checked can save your life or someone you love. Please listen to your body and don’t ignore changes ❤️
