This is the first episode of a series of 3 where I share my story about two Dell PowerEdge R820 servers. One of these servers became a donor to make a fully functional R820 for my lab. As a result, I had a 2nd R820 with a variety of problems that was going to be scrapped. However, I decided to attempt a rescue of this R820 server. In these episodes, you can come along with me on this journey of discovery, disappointment, and delight, as I rescue this server.
