Factory Audit - LED Chip Light Assembly (7) - Part 3
Shenzhen CYT Opto-Electronic Technology Co.,Ltd
Shenzhen CYT Opto-Electronic Technology Co., Ltd was established in 2003, is a national high-tech enterprise of LED lighting products and application solutions. CYT successfully use the combination of power management IC and LED technology developed more than thirty independent intellectual property rights, and got the international advanced level of “Dual-core Three Strengths”. In other words, compatible intelligent dimming IC drivers by using the power of the integrated circuit and special process, and high-brightness HV-LED (High voltage LED) chip by using high internal quantum efficiency of epitaxial wafer manufacturing as the two core technologies. “Three Strengths” stands for high bright efficiency, high lifespan and high-cost performance for standard LED lighting solution.
Only few companies can develop the HV-LED (Miniwatt) chips, but they have the problem with the defect rate in mass production as well as higher unit price. However, for CYT, they started invested in R&D of HV-LED technology in 2009 and have successful solved the problem and started mass production of this product in 2011.
The sales in the past 6 months jump nearly 2 times of the sales of last year. One reason is their two core technologies provide the competitive advantage for them in the LED industry; the other reason is customers now are educated and seeing the value of IC unit and LED lights.
