Prejudice and racism may have marked their lives but, undaunted, these patriotic men and women stepped up to free the world from tyranny. Their rich, authentic first-hand accounts must be preserved to remind us all of the sacrifices made by Canadian soldiers of all backgrounds. These stories must never be forgotten.
