A while ago I started a piano songbook on Youtube, where I release all kinds of piano music. What I never expected is to meet a singer from Tarauacá / Brazil. She said she had lyrics, but the music was missing, and asked me if – besides doing covers - I could also write music. I thought "why not" ... So after Anita Silva sent me her lyrics, we went back and forth - melody ideas for the verse, the chorus. Everything via Facebook Messenger, which was a very unusual experience. Finally, when the song was finished, the question was: how do we present the song? Maybe a video? Files were sent back and forth again, and finally we made a real mega low budget video. Hamburg - Tarauacá Collab ... I have to admit, I didn't even talk to Anita during that time, and yet we have now released a song. "Confessions" emerged from the corona isolation, and maybe one or the other here likes it. Or at least this little anecdote.
