Trump’s escalating threats against Iran sound ‘like a two-year old's fit,’ says a top Democrat

Rep. Adam Smith, a top Democrat in the House Armed Services Committee, says President Trump is improvising his war against Iran, putting him in a position of weakness. “Trump doesn't have a lot of good options in the short term; the one thing that they can do is they can blow stuff up,” Smith says. “The only reasonable option at this point is to try to first negotiate a ceasefire and then negotiate the best possible deal we can going forward."
