Hey guys, its Miss Cheevious and today I'll be taking you on a tour of the Giza complex. We'll be seeing the Great Sphinx, the Pyramid of Khafre and the the Great Pyramid of Khufu (also known as the Great Pyramid of Cheops), and finally off to a majestic Camel ride! This was one of my most favorite adventures and about the only things that compare to it are my trips to the the Valley of the Kings in Luxor and my exploration of the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia. The Sphinx is breathtaking and I could hardly believe I was there! The Great Pyramid was super cool and going all the way into the King's Chamber in the center of the pyramid was amazing. I felt like Indiana Jones squeezing through the ascending passageway. It was stuffy, hot, and a little creepy but it was so cool. Then I moved into the Grand Chamber where the ceiling is 28 feet high and you really feel small when you see the massive stone blocks surrounding you. They really rush you through the King's Chamber but it was interesting to see the stone sarcophagus but I was shocked to find out that they never found a mummy inside. Finally, we went to ride the camels with the Pyramids of Giza rising up in the background. What an amazing trip!
