How do you get aux video on your S/CL Class Mercedes instrument cluster screen?

Quick intro to a project that will display video on the instrument cluster display of W216 (CL Class) and W221 (S Class) Mercedes cars.

The basic idea is to maintain all information that is being overlayed while the instrument cluster is showing the night vision camera feed and splice our own video source in there. It will be used to switch between night vision and thermal cameras. However, it can be used for any other AUX video source like your phone.
