Steffen Morrison and soul go hand in hand. When growing up in Suriname he was surrounded by the sounds of James Brown, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Lou Reed while also listening to The Rolling Stones. Resulting in an interesting blend of musical styles he uses in his own music as well. Steffen brings back soul with a modern vibe as you can definitely hear in the two acoustic sessions he did for Rockstone.
