Vehicle Crashes Into Fire Station and Catches Fire

On May 11th, 2024, at about 9:15 PM, Rialto Firefighters reported a vehicle that crashed into their station and caught fire.
The driver was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The fire suppression system extinguished the fire.
No firefighters were injured in the crash.
DUI is believed to be the cause.
The fire station will be out of service for a couple of weeks.
The vehicle crashed into the firefighter’s lounge, occupied by firefighters’ monuments before the crash, but left the room due to being dispatched to a call.
