Tuvalu: a tiny nation taking on Australia and the world to fight climate change | The World

This year’s Pacific Islands Forum is being held on one of the smallest and least-visited nations on Earth, Tuvalu. The forum is being held in the nation’s capital, Funafuti, a tiny atoll not even half the size of Melbourne’s CBD.

Tuvalu is facing an existential crisis if sea levels rise as many scientists predict, and it will be pushing hard for nations like Australia to do more on climate change.
