Outdoor flash photography how much power do you need?

Today I am testing out 4 different flashes to see how much power I need to overpower the sun, I have the TT350, the v860ii, the AD200 and the AD300 pro, and it was interesting to see what I found out when firing these flashes in the midday sun.
