Name Manager with OFFSET function #shorts #excel

Steps:
Go to the formulas tab
Click Name Manager
Click on New.
Enter a name for your range, e.g., SalesData.
In the Refers to box, enter the OFFSET formula to define the dynamic range.
Formula: OFFSET(reference, rows, cols, [height], [width])
=OFFSET($A$2, 0, 0, COUNTA($A:$A), 1)
change your range accordingly
$A$2: Starting reference cell.
0, 0: No offset from the starting cell.
COUNTA($A:$A): Counts the number of non-empty cells in column A, defining the height.
1: The width of the range (1 column).

type formula =SUM(SalesData) - where you want to get the total sales.

Adding more sales figures to column A will automatically adjust the SalesData range to include the new values.
