Cream Soda Poundcake😋

I initially seen this poundcake all over the internet so I decided to make one and added the recipe at the end for everyone who asked about it..if you try it let me know how it taste♥️

RECIPE👩🏾‍🍳

INGREDIENTS
3 cups of granulated sugar
Zest and juice of half a lemon
4 sticks unsalted butter, room temp
I TB vanilla extract
5 eggs, room temp
3 cups all purpose flour
Pinch of salt
Fresh grated nutmeg or packaged
I cup cream soda
GLAZE
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2-3 TB cream soda
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 335.
Spray Bundt pan with PAM canola oil baking spray and coat with a little flour.
In a bowl add your sugar and zest of one half a lemon. Mix to create your lemon sugar.
Add in your softened butter and mix well with a hand mixer or stand mixer to combine.
Add in your vanilla extract and grate nutmeg (as much or as little as you want) eggs. Add in eggs I at a time dont overbeat!
Mix well again until everything is combined.
Next add in your pinch of salt and flour and mix until well combined. Pour in your cream soda and beat until cake batter is fully combined
• Pour into your greased Bundt pan and bake for about i hour and 20 minutes until the cake is fully cooked. You can check that with a long toothpick or knife
Cool the cake for Atleast 20 minutes before flipping out of the Bundt pan. to make the glaze add the powder sugar and vanilla into a bowl. Whisk in cream soda a couple tablespoons at a time until a thick shiny glaze forms
Once the cake is cooled to the touch add your glaze.
