★ Nekocon 2019 AMV contest finalist

There's a lot to be said here but I'm trying to keep it short. I'm super happy about finding out about this series this year and I'm so glad it had almost aired before Nekocon's AMV contest deadline. Because that meant I actually had the opportunity to edit this idea that I had. I still can't believe no one else has edited this song to these two but hey, it's always nice to be original and be the first.

I think I've always beat around the bush about this topic but never actually bluntly said it since all in all - I am not comfortable sharing all my personal details online. But at the same time I think I do need to mention it since it has shaped me as a person so much and also explains the topic of the video much more deeply. I'm a little sister who has lost their big brother. That's the reason why I chose this topic when I heard there's gonna be "Best relationship" awarded at Nekocon's AMV contest. For years I've wanted to find a well done siblings relationship anime and finally I have it. I'm never going to know what a sibling relationship will be like and I can only wish that I would. But that's okay because everyone's having it rough at some point in their lives and this is my hardship.

Ultimately this is more from Dororo to Hyakkimaru rather than the other way around but I'm okay with anyone looking at it however they see fit. I personally just love this series and it has pretty much surpassed to be one of my favorite if not even my favorite series of all time and I think it has much to do with the sibling aspect in play.

Tästä olisi paljonkin sanottavaa, mutta yritän pitää kommentaarini lyhyenä. Olen todella onnellinen, että löysin tämän sarjan tänä vuonna ja oli hyvää onnea, että sarja oli lähes kokonaan tullut Nekoconin AMV-kilpailun deadlineen mennessä. Tämä tarkoitti, että saatoin toteuttaa tämän idean ja en voi uskoa, että kukaan muu ei ollut editoinut tätä kappaletta näihin kahteen. Toki on mukavaa olla originelli ja ensimmäinen.

Olen varmasti monesti käsitellyt tätä asiaa ympäripyöreästi videoideni kuvauksessa, mutten ole koskaan sanonut sitä ääneen - sillä en halua jakaa kaikkia yksityiskohtia elämästäni netissä. Samalla kuitenkin koen, että tässä kohtaa tämä fakta on hyvä mainita, sillä se on muokannut minua ihmisenä ja selittää tämän videon aihevalinnan syvemmin. Olen pikkusisko, joka on menettänyt isoveljensä. Tämän vuoksi siis valitsin kyseisen aiheen, kun kuulin, että Nekoconissa on "Paras ihmissuhde" palkinto. Olen vuosia etsinyt hyvää sisarussuhdesarjaa ja viimein löysin sellaisen. En tule koskaan tietämään millaista on olla sisarussuhde ja voin vain toivoa, että tietäisin. Mutta olen jo hyväksynyt asian, kaikilla on joskus vaikeita asioita elämässään ja tämä on omani.

Videon on enemmän Dororon näkökulmasta Hyakkimarulle, mutta katsojan saa puolestani tehdä omat johtopäätöksensä. Rakastan tätä sarjaa ja siitä on tullut yksi suosikkisarjoisani ellei jops se ykkössuosikki. Uskon, että sisarussuhteen esittämisellä on varmasti paljon vaikutusta asiaan.
