Conversation with Marco B. Bucci
The first episode of the new season of Queer Graphics: Fumetti Italiani LGBTQIA+ is dedicated to Marco B. Bucci. During the interview, Bucci discusses topics such as the representation of utopian and dystopian worlds, the creation of queer role-playing games, and his relationship with technology.
Between 2017 and 2019, Bucci published the series Nomen Omen with Jacopo Camagni for Panini Comics. For the same publishing company, he created Saetta Rossa (2021) with Riccardo Atzeni. Bucci is currently publishing the series Simulacri for Bonelli editore, with Camagni, Eleonora C. Caruso, Flavia Biondi, Giulio Macaione, and Stefano Martinuz.
Alice Parrinello and Alberica Bazzoni have interviewed Bucci at the Libreria IGOR in Bologna.
Queer Graphics has been created thanks to PER funding from TORCH, the Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities of the University of Oxford. The video has been produced and subtitled by SMK Factory.
