How to Increase Undo Steps ( Ctrl+Z ) in Blender
Hello guys! Welcome back to my channel. In today's video, I'm going to show you how to increase the number of times you can use the undo or Ctrl+Z option in Blender. This can be really handy when you want to revert multiple steps back in your project. So, let's get started!
1. By default, Blender allows you to undo up to 32 steps. But sometimes, you might need more than that, especially when you're working on complex projects.
2. First, let's open the Preferences. You can do this by going to the Edit menu at the top left of the screen and then selecting Preferences.
3. Alternatively, you can use the shortcut, which is Ctrl+Alt+U. This will bring up the Preferences window.
4. In the Preferences window, look for the System tab on the left-hand side and click on it.
5. Here, you'll find the Memory & Limits section. This section controls various limits within Blender, including the undo steps.
6. You'll see an option called 'Undo Steps'. By default, it's set to 32. You can increase this number by clicking on the field and typing in a new value. For example, let's change it to 600.
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up, and don't forget to subscribe to my channel for more Blender tips and tutorials. Also, hit the bell icon to get notified whenever I upload a new video.
Thanks for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.
Hope the video is helpful!
