When I started this series just over a year ago, I never imagined I’d be sitting 20ft away from Alex Murdaugh in a courtroom, taking pictures as he’s starting me down. But here we are…Alex Murdaugh has officially been charged with the murder of his wife and son. He’s lost his business, his property, his family and now potentially his freedom. The case continues to receive national attention, and the state has to know their every move will be scrutinized. With this in mind, it’s hard to imagine they have anything less than an airtight case against Alex Murdaugh, but like we’ve seen before, not everything is always as it seems.
