The View UpStairs is the European premiere if the Off-Broadway shows that follows fashion designer Wes, who purchases an abandoned building that was once the UpStairs Lounge, a vibrant ‘70s gay bar in the French Quarter of New Orleans.

A provocative new musical, it is inspired by the true story of the 1973 arson attack that was the largest single attack against the LGBTQ+ community until the Pulse Nightclub shootings in Florida in 2016.

Cast includes Andy Mientus, Declan Bennett, Cedric Neal, Gary Lee, Derek Hagen, John Partridge, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Carly Mercedes Dyer, Joseph Prouse and Tyrone Huntley.

Max Vernon's musical is directed by Jonathan O'Boyle, with set and costume design by Lee Newby, sound by Adam Fisher, choreography by Fabian Aloise and lighting by Nic Farman.
